Opportunities For Primary Schools
CHINA NOW has opportunities and grants for UK primary schools that wish to develop new or existing relationships with China.

Materials
To help primary schools that are new to working with China, CHINA NOW has produced a powerpoint presentation for use in class or assembly entitled “Welcome to China”. This, along with detailed teacher’s notes, can be downloaded from here.

The presentation is an easy way to introduce China to students and should take about 20 minutes to deliver. The presentation can be used on its own or alongside the teacher’s resource pack for primary schools. The resource pack contains a range of easy to use resources, suggested activities (linked to the national curriculum), teacher’s notes and sample schemes of work and can be downloaded from here.
