The Horniman’s upcoming exhibition, China: Symbols in Silk, will be on display in the museum’s Balcony Gallery from May 2008.
This stunning exhibition will feature contemporary and historic textiles including beautiful silk objects, from embroidered robes to exquisite shoes, as well as altar pieces and a figure of the seated Buddha Sakyamuni.
